UVCtv
UVCtv allows the ability for anyone to create their own advertisment to be aired
on local cable television. In a partnership with CableOne, UVCtv has created a televised
version of the newspaper classifieds.
A few different pieces of software had to be developed for this project including
a large scale web application and the software responsible for generating the actual
televised content. The web application gives users the ability to manage their account
and ads. The administrative features include complete control of ad creation/modification,
ad approval, user management, and reporting to name a few. The software generating
the ads for broadcast is located on a custom built rack server in the cable company's
headend office. This piece communicates with the web application for the necessary
information.

RevelDigital
The RevelDigital project took advantage of the broad range of skill sets available
from the Catalyst staff. RevelDigital is a digital signage product with the goal
of allowing easy access to managing large numbers of signage displays. A public
facing web application was designed to allow simple and convenient access to every
element of the digital signage process from content creation to scheduling to reporting.
The same application was also responsible for the packaging and distribution of
content to the individual signage players.
Catalyst was also involved in the development of the software used to run the signage
players themselves. Embedded software was developed for the smaller self contained
display devices and a larger scale application was developed for the more capable
devices.

Kode7
Kode7 was developed for a New Zealand based delivery service catering to food and
convenience markets. To order a food item, just logon, make your purchase, and wait
for the delivery. The advantage of this is that restaurants do not need their own
delivery staff and save money by not having all the extra overhead involved.
Catalyst was responsible for development of 100% of the software running the Kode7
operation. This included the public web application for taking orders, the private
web application for general management, a call center application, and software
for handheld printing devices. When an order is made it gets immediately placed
in a call center queue. From there is gets dispatched to indivudal drivers where
the order is displayed on a handheld BlackBerry device attached to a portable printer.
The printer was necessary for receipts and customer signatures.

VirtualManager
The goal of the VirtualManager product is to take some of the book work out of restaurant
management. For many years management record keeping and logs have been done with
products such as the Manager's Red Book. VirtualManager provides an online alternative
for a much simpler and less error prone method of daily log maintenance.
Catalyst developed the product to be as clean and efficient as possible to make
sure it worked WITH not against the management. A web 'portal' design was chosen
which allows users to arrange the various content modules to suit personal preference.
A few of the modules included current weather, daily action items, sales/ticket
totals, and realtime performance graphs. An important feature of the software was
the ability to manage multiple stores and to create a hierarchy of access levels.
